When YOU walk, you help to provide companion animals with food, shelter, enrichment, and medical care until they find a forever home. Spokane Humane Society is the oldest local non-profit in Spokane, and has been serving the community since 1897. Each year, we strut our pups to raise vital operating funds that support our community by providing care to local companion animals. Will you join us in our mission to better the lives of animals and their companions through Support, Education, Advocacy and Love?

CREATE a TEAM
Calling all Team Captains, create a team with your friends, family, or co-workers by selecting YES when asked if you'd like to Join or Create a new team during registration. Then follow the prompts to create a team name and fundraising page on this website and invite team members to join. Share your team page to raise funds for SHS and out compete the other teams!
JOIN a TEAM
If you're joining an existing team, select YES during registration when asked if you'd like to Join or Create a new team, then search for the name of your team captain or team you’re joining. Share your team page to raise funds for SHS and out compete the other teams!
WALK ALONE
If independence is more your style, register as a solo walker by selecting NO during registration when asked if you'd like to join or create a new team. You’ll also be able to set up a fundraising page and invite your friends, family, and co-workers to donate to raise funds and out compete other solo walkers.
If you, a guest, or your children won’t be fundraising and don’t want a Parade of Paws shirt or sports pack, all are welcome to show up to participate in the walk without registering.
As soon as you register, you're ready to start fundraising! Share a link to your team or solo walker fundraising page on social media, via text or email, or even add it to a flier and pass it around. If each walker raises just $250 this year, you will raise over $100,000 to give homeless dogs and cats in Spokane a second chance.
You'll be competing with the other teams and solo walkers to raise the most money. This year, the top fundraising team will be celebrating in their TOP DOG Private tent, stocked with drinks and goodies along with recognition and inclusion in the awards ceremony.
